Meet Coach Luz Wayman
Luz is a passionate pickleball coach with a truly unique perspective. She started as a complete beginner with zero racquet sports experience and worked her way up to a 4.0+ level player. This journey has given her invaluable insight into every struggle, breakthrough, and “aha moment” that players experience along the way.
Luz’s coaching experience includes serving as a coaching professional at one of Life Time Fitness’s top facilities in the nation. She specializes in working with players at the 4.0 level and below. Having walked in their shoes, she understands exactly what it takes to overcome the common challenges that hold players back from reaching the next level.
Luz’s coaching philosophy centers on relatability and positivity. Because she has firsthand experience with the frustration of missing a third-shot drop or struggling with court positioning, she offers more than just technical instruction—she provides the emotional support and encouragement that make all the difference.
Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or working to break through the 3.5 plateau, Luz brings infectious positive energy and the tools to help unlock your full potential.
